  • What will be the format of these virtual DBT group sessions?
There will be up to 12 participants in each group. An opening mindfulness practice will be included in every online group session. After the practice we move on to discuss the previous week's worksheets, practice of handouts and discuss the barriers(if any) that you faced during this practice. We take a short break after the review and come back to another activity to practice. We discuss this week's concepts and skills, practice few of them and move towards handouts listing this week's therapeutic skills. Before each group begins, handouts and worksheets will be provided. A secure video connection will be used for the sessions, and participants will be asked to commit to maintaining confidentiality. There will be no recording of sessions.
